The short 12-16" black mini calla lilies are measured from the bottom of the stem to the tip of the flower. The short 12-16" mini callas have an approx head diameter of 1.5-2.5 inches and a average head length of 1.7-2.5 inches.
Our Extra tall hot chocolate mini callas are 20-30 inches tall with an approx head diameter of 2.0-3.5 inches and an approx head length of 2.5-4.3 inches.
Stems are thicker and sturdier than the other mini calla colors. While the above images are representative of our hot chocolate calla lily flowers, actual colors may vary somewhat. As flowers are a natural product with variance from season to season, we can't guarantee exact color shades.
- Choose containers for your mini callas that are at least as tall as the flower stems. Tall containers will support the calla lily stems as they take their initial drink and will help keep the stems straight. You can transfer the flowers later to your desired vases.
- Fill containers with 2 TO 3 INCHES of fresh water ONLY. Mini calla lilies do not like to stand in a full vase of water and if the water level is too high there is a chance that their stems can get slimy and mushy.
- Hold each stem under running water and cut stems diagonally approximately about ¼ inch from the bottom. The slanted cut is important as it will create a fresh, larger surface area to absorb water.
- Immediately after cutting, place the stem in the prepared water.
- Give your mini calla lily flowers at least 4 hours to hydrate well.
- Keep them in a cool, dry location, with a room temperature between 35 and 70 degrees Fahrenheit. The cooler the temperature, the fresher your arrangements will be stay. Avoid extreme temperatures, don't freeze your flowers and don’t place them in direct sunlight or in a draft!
- Check on your flowers often to make sure they have sufficient water.
- Try to change the water in the vases and recut the ends of the stems every 24 hours to keep flowers fresh. This will keep the water from becoming contaminated with bacteria that will block the flower's availability to absorb water.

Each order must have a valid and working telephone number. FedEx will not accept any orders without a working telephone number.
Please review your shipping address carefully. If you provide the wrong shipping address, we are not responsible for any problems that may result. Any shipping redirects or changes will incur a $10 fee and changes may not be feasible as the delivery date approaches, especially once the shipping tracking number has been assigned.
- Bella Wedding Flowers is not responsible for packages that are received before or after the specified delivery date, are lost, stolen or damaged once in the hands of the carrier. In the event that there is a delay with your package, please contact FedEx directly.
- If your tracking number starts with a "D" your package has been shipped with Ontrac. You can track your package online at: www.ontrac.com or call them directly at 1-800-334-5000 in the event you need to reschedule your delivery.
- Shipments to Hawaii and Alaska will be charged an extra $45 per box surcharge. For shipments to Canada please contact us.
