Fresh Rose Petals

Flower petals used strategically in a wedding can be the most cost-effective and romantic aspects of the entire day. One wedding planner once told us that for a bride on a budget, she would even recommend forgoing table centerpieces in favor of scattered rose petals! And there's a reason why ordering your rose petals directly from the grower makes the best sense. For our petals, we select the varieties that produce the strongest, crispest, hardiest petals with great color saturation (these varieties usually make poor rose flowers by the way). We cut the roses early (at a time when the flower would not have opened but the petal is fully developed and fresh), and use a special manner to de-petal the roses to minimize contact with human hands and eliminate finger spots and bruising.
